Shall we write it together, then? Lol. I've always wanted to collaborate on a fic before, but I know how extremely difficult that would be, especially when the two authors have different writing styles. Most of my fics can be found here: www.fanfiction.net/u/383607/chromeknickers We both do write in a third-person present-tense style, if a quick glance through your work legitimately showed me what I needed to see to judge. I will read the shit out of it later, though. I mean, the first fic's a reference to AiW; it automatically is good as fucking god.

And now I've just come up with a bunch of ideas for my The Prince of the Fire Nation plot bunny, so I guess I'll have to fit it into my writing schedule somehow. But me saying this doesn't mean you can't use the idea, carcinogeneticist.

The ideas just won't stop now. It's just as bad as it was for Tabula Rasa. Now I'm not sure which to work on first! >_<

I find it interesting you assume that people who can't be bothered trying to redeem Ozai in fanfiction have somehow missed the point. No one is saying that Ozai wouldn't have reasons for being the way he is, or that he couldn't have deeper feelings behind his actions. I'm also sure that Ozai could be redeemed in some way if an author really made the effort, but (in my view) his character in canon comes across as not wanting to be redeemed. Maybe years and years down the track he might have finally humbled himself to realise what an idiot he has been, but before that? I don't see it happening. I have nothing against people wanting to write an Ozai redemption fic. I just would never write one myself. *shrug* Also, the Prince of Egypt idea is awesome, Lia. Someone has to write this! Anything featuring Zuko/Aang as friends or 'brothers' is an instant win in my books. ^_^ I wasn't really telling people to write Ozai redemption stories. It just fucking pisses me off when people assume Ozai is this number one irrevocably, unspeakably evil bad guy who belongs in hell for eternia and back. I suppose I was defending Ozai redemption fics more than anything; I'd like to see a Zutara fanfic that tries to tackle it, at least. Change of pace, you know.

I presume you're the writer of Fire and Ice, and I also presume it's going to be an Ozai redemption fic. If so, permit me to leap headfirst into it and devour it in one go. It's about time we had Zutara fics that contained arcs other than the eponymous Zutara. That's right, I'd like some fucking plot with my porn, fluff, and romantic tension, goddammit.
She is indeed that author and she is amazing. I'm writing my first Zutara fic and I hope to have plot alongside my everything else. XD i prefer plot with everything too. Thank gog, a sane writer who doesn't believe Ozai needs to be drowned in a vat of acid, clubbed over the head, boiled into stew, run through a flour mill and stabbed repeatedly in the chest and genitals for good measure.
And I don't believe he needs to be 'drowned in a vat of acid'. I'm not sure what to do with him, but I'm curious as to things. I'm actually thinking of things he's said before and thinking how in some ways, he had some points. Like with the whole Promise thing. He mentioned to Zuko about how things would go down in Yu Dai. I mean he's right also about the Fire Lord needs to make a decision and stick with it. There are generally consequences, and there will be some right or wrongs, but he DOES need to make decisions firmly as Fire Lord and stick with it. That's how it'll work. Like I said, there will be rights and wrongs, but sometimes it will come down to he has to make a decision and not making one is worse. Also the talk about the nations he gives. I'm trying to find the exact words as I don't own "The Promise" yet, but the point being about separate nations not quite working. Though Ozai's views are kinda twisted, there are some good points in there.

The Avatar version of Groundhog Day. I think it'd be funny to see someone like Zuko, for instance, have to live the same day over and over again. Hehe. He'd go mental.

Someone has to write this! Maybe on that special day when Combustion Man came and attacked everyone. Think of the chaos of living that day over and over again! But maybe that would be too mean... perhaps the day after? Haha. I don't know. As long as someone does it, I'll be happy. =)

That frog should've been the guidance counselor in the School Time Shipping short. I love Iroh, but I think the frog was just as qualified.
