Plus they'd do each other's hair. ^AHAHAHAHA - yes, this! XD Because after Amon's took away his bending, Tahno would be like this: Unless Korra came to help him, like this: ^Um . . . only a million! XD However, this partially depends on what kind of headcanon you would like to see depicted. Just like I can't stand fics where Ozai dies or is shipped with an OC, some readers can't stand suicidal!Tahno fics where Korra brings him back from the edge. However, that's my personal favorite type. Can I rec you some involving that? I also know some great smutty ones. ^___^ Discussion question: Do you see Tahno being suicidal? If so, in what context - always, only after Amon removes his bending, etc.?

Personally, I am a fan of anything by TheRentYouPay (she's on FF.net as well as Tumblr). The way she writes Tahno is really spot on. Read her Breaking the Ice series. It's long, but phenomenal.

Discussion question: Do you see Tahno being suicidal? If so, in what context - always, only after Amon removes his bending, etc.? I really don't. I guess the whole emo "I can't bear to live anymore" thing just doesn't appeal to me as a plot in general, though. Now, I'm sure Tahno would be depressed and feel sorry for himself, possibly leading him to seek comfort in less desirable vices (alcoholism is a popular one in fanfics, it seems), but I really can't see him actually being suicidal. Maybe he just strikes me as too selfish to give up his life.

D'aww, they'd bond over ridic hairdos, Tahno would play with Korra's too and it would be a very silly situation that would lead to private lessons of some description. Yis!
I dunno which kinds of fics I'd be more into, I've only ever read this one where they were sort of friends who kept bumping into each other and would wind up flirting something fierce, make outs were in the menu as well, I suppose this happened after she'd restored his bending, tho no time frame was explicitly given (that I remember), so I'm pretty much game for anything. I AM A BLANK CANVAS, BRING YOUR OWN PAINTS.
Hmm, I don't know, I feel like he'd go into a very deep depression, with severe withdrawal from people and unnecessary social interactions, not sure he'd go full-out suicidal, but he'd be pretty low. I guess if there was a way for him to get back on the limelight without it being about pity for him, he'd go for it, he treasures fame and being in the spotlight, to the extreme it might make sense he'd decide to bin it all and just go jump off a building, but it would be a very extreme case; in my mind he'd be more the type to throw himself a massive self-pity party, but he still had the presence of mind to both show up at the police station and request that Korra get Amon for him, there was even that glimmer of hope for the future in his (really empty) attempt at humor with the salute and the 'see you around, uh-vatar' line, you know?
Bit OT: Of course, like Iroh II, he's given us enough to develop some attachment to him, but not enough to be absolutely certain of what he would or wouldn't do, headcanons ahoy! bassically. In these cases, I can believe anything as long as it's presented in a way that sounds believable, like, something that I could hear the characters saying, an action I could see Korra taking (in this particular case, she's the familiar face, if you will), a bond that could plausibly develop from the given interactions. As a writer, these are the most fun ones to play with, as a reader I require either a one-off like the one I mentioned above, that's set in some unspecified point in time, or some serious ground work because, in a way, the author would have to build this character and his relationships pretty much from the ground.
...ya know?

I also have a headcanon that he's addicted to bloodbending himself (which is more classy than drugs, I guess?). That is a very unique and intriguing notion! I kind of like that idea...

That is a very unique and intriguing notion! I kind of like that idea... ^Like I said, I had a whole giant Tahnorra epic all planned out - and then that coin flip picked Fire and Ice for me to write instead. XD I guess I could write some Tahnorra one-shots if anyone would be interested . . . ? Or should I save all of my material for that epic I'll be writing eventually?

So, apparently there is a thing called Twelve Days of Tahnorra over on Tumblr. 24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mekoqcE4cQ1rvu6p0o1_500.jpg(I think that will link to the info...). Just in case anyone is a fast enough writer to get in on the fun!
