Anyone have any songs that they just listen to and think "Hey that's like ZUTARA omg" I have a habit of finding bitter sweet songs that fit this pairing. here are two of mine: Ocean Gypsy by Blackmore's night > www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsPDQ1Mtk6sSwimming Home by Evanescence > www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9IVfLnPl_Eboth of these songs popped up when I was reading the black games too... so... if they aren't even Zutara sounding to you guys I MADE THEM FIT while I was crying XD

True Colors by Cyndi Lauper Set Fire To The Rain by Adele Baby I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney Stand By Me by Ben E King Africa by ToTo * Landslide by Stevie Nicks - this song actually makes me think of a switch from Kataang to Zutara Edit: I should note that I never write to music with lyrics. I often write with either no music or just instrumental music. But the above songs still remind me of Zutara. ^_^

This one is more for Zuko, but it always puts me in a really Zutara mood.
If only it were gold eyes.

Fallen- Sarah McLachlan
Reminds me of Zutara angst.
Numb-Linkin Park
This one pretty much describes Zuko.
Final Distance-Utada Hikaru
Maybe- Yiruma
I adore playing Yiruma pieces cuz it always reminds of Zutara...

chromeknickers. I write to instrumentals too! I thought I was the only one! Yay like-minded writers. on that note I'd like to share with you my favourite instrumental to write Zutara too. It's called "Ocean" by John Butler - and he's was trying to capture the energy of the ocean. It reminds me of Katara and Zutara and it's just a lovely peice of music. I don't know how to embed videos on this - but the URL is here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xZw9D9c18E

Honestly, it's probably better not to embed a bunch of videos into one thread. I have really fast internet, and even with the few videos that are already embedded, it's causing my computer to lag every time I enter this thread.
On a related note, I love instrumental music. I have trouble writing if I can hear lyrics because someone else's words are interrupting mine... if that makes sense.
On a topic-related note, that song is great, emletish!

Glad you liked it! He plays a different version everytime he plays it live and he just fiddles about with the melody. Gosh I've heard it twice and both times it was so different yet so simmilar. but the one I posted is my favourite version.

Ellie Goulding: Guns and Horses Mumford and Sons: Lover of the Light Those are my big two right now! I've been trying to build a good, solid playlist for a while, but I'm always so particular about what goes on it, haha. King and Lionheart by Of Monsters and Men is a pretty good one, too.
