Alright, another day of work, another picture. Not the most exciting picture in the world, but I nothing was working today. I scrapped two other drawings before I ran out of time and had to settle with this.

I love the way you draw Katara, she's so beautiful~ I wish I could draw like that between classes/at work.

Boogum - Thanks. I really wanted to draw something fun and energetic, but my hand was like, "Sorry, no." I love drawing expressions, and somber seems to be my natural default. idek.
Mati - Your artwork is always amazing! I bet you've made some great doodles. Although drawing in class/at work is a habit you'd probably be better off not picking up. I just can't seem to help myself.

Here's an inkscape pic that I started yesterday and finished (more or less) earlier today. As I've said before, I'm not terribly fond of making art in inkscape, but it's one of my only options if I want to do a colored picture. The problem with vector art is that it always turns out looking flat and artificial. Meh, can't help what you can't change. I have work again today, so I might have another doodle for everyone later tonight.

lol! I told you! I don't know why, but whenever I go to draw a picture, the serious takes over. I'm really not a serious person at all, so I'm a bit mystified by it. My drawing often start off somber, and then I change them to fit the mood I want.

I can't stop staring at Zuko's eyes...it's like I'm diving into them *-* Do you use Illustrator to ink your art? Why won't you try working on an original pencil lineart, clean it up and color in Photoshop? (I take it that you don't own a tablet, am I right?). I think you should give it a try. Regardless - it looks beautiful and I can't wait to see more~

Aww, thanks! Actually, I do have a tablet, I just don't have a copy of photoshop that's compatable with my laptop. (My old computer was a pc, but now I have a Mac). The program I used to draw make this picture is an open-source vector drawing program similar to Illustrator.

Oh, I see...well then, you can always try to use GIMP, I heard it's pretty similar to Photoshop
