Movie question: Name your top five Pixar movies. 1. Finding Nemo (always and forever my favorite) 2. Toy Story (lumping them all together because all are amazing) 3. Up (if you don't cry during the first five minutes then you lack a soul) 4. Monsters, Inc. 5. Cars/Ratatouille (couldn't decide) Not really a huge fan of The Incredilbles and continue to be baffled whenever I see it as the #1 rated Disney/Pixar movie. I liked Brave, but I agree with Mrs. P. It was lacking something. Don't get me wrong, it's a great film and I highly recommend it, but I think Pixar has put out better. It's just disappointing, since it was Pixar's first film with a female lead. I think it deserved better. The animation was absolutely mind-blowing, though.

Christmas Vacation, anyone? I just love that movie, haha. "Clark?" "Yes, honey?" "Audrey's frozen from the waist down." "That's all part of the experience, honey."

Favorite Movies: Phantom of the Opera V for Vendetta Avengers Thor Pirates - 1, 2 ,3 and 4 Cinderella Pocahontas The Little Mermaid The Lorax LOTR Trilogy (I'm a hardcore Ringer.) 27 Dresses Ninja Assassin Peter Pan (Disney and non) Beauty and the Beast (Disney) Megamind Uhm, that's just off the top of my head... I have tons. ^I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I felt like Brave was missing something. My boyfriend said the same thing and we agreed that it needed a male lead, lmao. Which is like the exact opposite point of the movie since she doesn't want to get married, but I don't know..I just felt like the movie needed a guy. It's hard to explain. Maybe it's because I loved the dynamics between Flynn and Rapunzel that everything else is going to fall short for me, haha. Like I know the movie shows the bond between Merida and her mother, which was important, but it just lacked something. Might be a male lead, might just be in need of more characters, I don't know. I just felt disappointed by it and found it lacking. I felt Brave was missing something too. I watched it again on DVD and wasn't so disappointed by it, because seeing it a second time, there is no expectation. However, I enjoyed it all over again. Warning: I felt the same disappointment with the Princess and the Frog and Tangled. There was an element to Disney that just WAS NOT there. I feel frustrated by it because I don't know why it is. But since the Princess and the Frog and Rapunzel were my all time favorite fairy tales as a kid, I was somewhat annoyed at how it worked out. There just wasn't.. any REAL threat. The villains were a bit watery and I didn't feel that threat like I did in Snow White, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, etc. It just didn't have that depth.. same with Brave. :/ I felt it was seriously missing something. That's just my opinion. ^^ Finding Nemo Toy Story 1 and 2 Up Monsters Inc. The Incredibles Favorite Christmas moviesJingle All the Way (That movie cracks me up) The Santa Clause (only the first one) Muppet Christmas Carol (a tradition since I was a baby) Elf Home Alone 1 and 2 And that's all I can think of atm. XD
