....Yeah I was definitely just trying to say that I like you and think you're a cool person. I still plan to read your Tahnorra stuff even if I have to stop reading F&I. I'm sorry that you took it that way. :-\ ^. . . this may be a case of me not having slept more than three hours last night and now trying to not fall asleep on my computer and misinterpreting everything. Just ignore what I said, then. I've just had issues in the past in my creative writing classes where people started to have strange thoughts about me, personally, based on stuff I've written. So now I'm wary about the divide between author and story. :P You are working on a long response I imagine between the two of us! ^Yes I am, but I will have to finish it tomorrow morning. So. Sleepy. *Faints*

Girl, I have written American Horror Story fanfic featuring Tate Langdon (a textbook psychopath who'd I say is actually worse the Ozai but that didn't stop me from passionately shipping him with someone opp). I'm the last person to judge someone based on their writing. I don't judge based on reading either because people like what they like.
Unless, of course, they like 50 Shades of Gray. And then I judge away.

" I've just had issues in the past in my creative writing classes where people started to have strange thoughts about me, personally, based on stuff I've written."
I have to admit, the more I though about people doing that to you the more irritated I became. To me, writing is a way for normal, everyday people to let out their inner fuckery, if you will. I mean, why write something boring and predictable all the time, ya know? I think it's fun to write from the perspective of someone who has killed or someone who is greatly troubled. That doesn't make me a secret axe murderer.
Plus, how many teenagers wrote wrist-slitting poetry in high school? Like, most of them (except for me because I despised poetry, but I digress). And the majority are functioning citizens.

You know what happened to my creative writing professor when she was in graduate school? She wrote a story about a prostitute doing what she had to do in order to survive and feed her children. While workshopping her story, the students started to discuss my professor's (the author's) personal moral values and whether she, herself, was a prostitute. Because there was a gag rule (the author can't speak while her piece is being workshopped), she had to sit through five minutes in which the conversation topic was literally whether or not she was a prostitute. After the class, she went home and cried. Thankfully nothing extreme like that has happened to me, but some people can have odds thoughts. o___o That's why I thought this was important to bring up, because there's a difference between, say, redeeming Ozai in my story and supporting Hitler, which as a Jew I can most certainty say I do not do. There exists a line between fiction and real life. Fortunately, I do not at all think you're an axe murderer even though your stories have featured such things as murder.

That's...that's awful. People can be so cruel sometimes, even if they're technically not "meaning to". The fact that she had to sit there in silence to, man. Man oh man. I don't think I would've been able to do that. I'm much too self defensive. Also, kudos to you for taking a creative writing class. I'm too big of a pansy. I don't take criticism very well, so I don't know if I could handle peolple openly discussing my work.
"That's why I thought this was important to bring up, because there's a difference between, say, redeeming Ozai in my story and supporting Hitler, which as a Jew I can most certainty say I do not do."
Oh, goodness me, of course not! I don't necessarily think Ozai can be redeemed at this point in your story, but just because you like his character and have the desire to redeem him doesn't mean you support Hitler. Plus, there's a big, glaring difference between Ozai and Hitler. Ozai is fictional; Hitler is not. Besides, as I was saying earlier, I've written Tate Langdon from American Horror Story in a...positive light, I guess you could say. Or a shipping light rather. Dude is a murderer and a rapist. Lots of no buenos. Doesn't mean I support murderers and rapists (nor do I support dating them for that matter).

B: It is fucked up. We should rally up and make those people see the light or something? lol. It is fun to write from all different perspectives. God if that did then I'd be friends with a lot of murderers. XD
Er...*raises hand* Not only did I write that stuff poetry wise, but story and song. =P
'meaning to' or not. people are assholes. >< I'm not sure I could've been TOTALLY silent either. =/ And LOL! I wasn't a pansy, I just didn't have a chance. =P But yes! Kudos Michelle!!
I'm curious as to your viewpoint with her story as it goes on! I have a vague insight because of the spoilers she's posted and the discussions. But ZOMG! Still so much we don't know. Still don't know the ending. XD I love how you just said "Doesn't mean I support murderers and rapists (nor do I support dating them for that matter). " HILARIOUS!
M: That is AWFUL! @_@ That's so awful. =( I can't believe she couldn't talk about that. T_T_T She couldn't respond at all...She's a strong woman. She's so just wow. And @@ I'm glad you haven't had that happen either!! *GLOMPS* Understandable thought process. And yeaa that would definitely not be your thought process. @@ Not anyone's I imagine.
LMFAO!! I don't think either of you are anything but you. That is funny though that she said that. XD
Also - I REVIEWED!

I'm curious as to how the story is going to go. I hate Ozai and don't expect to ever feel sorry for him but...Zutara. As long as there is Zutara and its done well, I don't think I could ever *truly* flounce And I lurked the reviews (am I the only one who does this?) and someone said that Katara might have been channeling Ursa in her dreams, which is...an interesting concept. Food for thought.

That is AWFUL! @_@ That's so awful. =( I can't believe she couldn't talk about that. T_T_T She couldn't respond at all...She's a strong woman. She's so just wow. ^My professor is incredible. She came from a redneck family living in a trailer park, suffered parental abuse, and is now has an extremely prestigious fellowship at a top 20 university. I love her so much! And I lurked the reviews (am I the only one who does this?) and someone said that Katara might have been channeling Ursa in her dreams, which is...an interesting concept. Food for thought. ^I love lurking reviews (you have some of the best ones 'cause everyone's always going crazy). XD And, hmm . . . food for thought, indeed. I do love Urzai. You guys know that well. THAT IROH IS DEAD! T_T_T I still cry about this. ^That was a gamble, one I kept debating doing or not doing but ultimately felt this way was best. That, along with the fact that I've brought in Ozai as a pivotal character, are two of the main risks I've decided to take in setting this story apart from all other Zutaras. On the bright side: Two chapters from now (in "I Hold With Those Who Favor Fire: 4") we get some nice Zuko/Katara alone time. ^___^
