Why do you think there are going to be three Hobbit movies instead of just one? I mean... The Hobbit was originally written for children. The Lord of the Rings is really just one book that the publishers split into three for the sales. See the size difference in it? There's no way they could make three movies out of the Hobbit without all of that extra lore. =D

Meeeee, too! He's the perfect Gandalf! It's sad that Christopher Lee (who is a tLotR junky and was really close with J.R.R. Tolkien) didn't get the part despite Tolkien saying he'd want him to be Gandalf, but he was so wonderful as Saruman, and if he played Gandalf, we wouldn't have ever heard anyone pronounce the name correctly because he was the only one who did (F's at the end of words are pronounced like V's in Sindarin Elvish).
Anywaaaaaay, enough nerdiness from me for now...
I think Bourne: Legacy comes out on Tuesday, too. I know if it doesn't, it and Total Recall are coming this month.

No! Christopher Lee is going to be in it! He HAS to be. And he's in the IMDB cast: IMDB: Hobbit CastI heard that Fred and George from Harry Potter (James and Oliver Phelps) were supposed to be in it... but I don't see them there. D: I was excited.

Right, but Christopher Lee won't be playing Gandalf. He's going to play Saruman. I'm extremely excited for this movie!
On antoher note, I'm going to be seeing Skyfall today with my love and several of his underlings at work (their team is going to see it). We watched Quantum of Solace last night to catch up. I'm excited. Even though I don't think Daniel Craig is right for the role (he's too rugged; Bond should be smooth) despite his amazing talent as an actor, I still enjoy the movies. I love me some action movies!
On the 16th, I'll be seeing The Hobbit, and some time after that, I'll be seeing Les Miserables with a friend of mine and her hubby and potentially one of her friends that I've met in the past and liked.
This is a good month for movies, methinks. =D

Skyfall was probably my favorite of the three Daniel Craig Bond movies, honestly. It was pretty interesting, and Javier Bardem was fucking awesome as the villain. I don't know why, but he just does a fantastic job of playing characters who are like... crazy, but the kind of crazy that isn't always apparent right away until he starts doing the crazy stuff.

He did a FABULOUS job as the bad guy!! =D

OMG! You guys! I saw The Hobbit today! I freaking loved it! When the dwarves sang, I got chills (I just wish they hadn't used that song with a higher man's voice for the credits. Those deep bass tones were what made it great, damnit!).
Anyway, I absolutely love, love, love how they're putting the extended lore into this movie. I'm learning more about Middle Earth than I ever knew!
Also... Galadriel and Gandalf! My new Middle Earth OTP!
